Message from the Executive Director, Aziz Abdur-Ra’oof, ’87

Time is flying, it’s hard to believe the 4th of July has passed us. Hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating our country’s birthday.

For those of you in the Baltimore – Washington corridor, we hope that you will join us for the 36th Annual Rodman Golf Tournament being held at the Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD. This is one of the premier courses in the area, so please support the M Club in its #1 fundraiser of the year. Please see information below in Upcoming Events section.

Please mark your calendars for the weekend of Oct. 29 - 31 to come back to campus and reminisce about your playing days at the “All Sports Reunion Weekend” (formerly known as Letterwinner’s Day). More information will follow in the coming months. Click the image below in Upcoming Events.

It was great seeing Bob Smith,’75 football, when he stopped by our offices to say “hi” to Dotti who recognized him immediately. Bob shared with us a story about his son, who by the way graduated high school at the age of 10, yes 10 and is working on his 4th degree, a PhD at the age 21. Bob hopes to be working for him in the future. We had a very good conversation about biology and genetics. Go Terps!
